INVESTMENT
Oak Glen has one desire - to care for those who care for all of us. This care is designed to be gracious and authentic and can be essential in impacting the lives of ministry professionals.
Consider the significance of helping just one ministry couple restore their marriage or imagine the impact of helping a ministry professional break through the dark cloud of depression and hopelessness. This restorative "pebble in the pond" ripple effect extends well beyond the lives of the ministry professionals we seek to help to the people they serve and to extend hope and grace to much broader community contexts.
Oak Glen has great new investment news which is key to the renewed regional focus to our mission: An investor has made facilities available to us in the Black Hills that will allow us to provide preventative, assessment and critical care services for ministry professionals in the context of God’s creation. Modern comfortable cabins nestled in a beautiful valley lined with pine trees and rock faces is complemented by a creek burbling through the property. Just 20 minutes outside of Rapid City, this accessible but remote setting provides the perfect escape from the distractions of our daily routines.
This investment is key in that it allows Oak Glen to offer a five day care format that is affordable to ministry professionals. We take that one step further and will offer our services free of charge for ministry proffessionals with financial need. Here is one area where you can help.
Oak Glen relies on fundraising to help subsidize ministry professionals who can't afford to pay for some or all of the service expenses. We also rely on fundraising for some operational cash flow.
We need investment in prayer support!
Prayer for those ministry professionals we are hearing from and seeking to help, as well as those who may not know that help is available.
These are challenging days. We are asking God to raise up gifted people who are able to help meet the financial needs of Oak Glen. Pray for us as we seek to provide as many opportunities to help ministry professionals as possible.
